Rowena Beale is a Sydney-based artist whose experimental work encompasses acrylics, inks, collage, oil pastels, spray paint and water colours, often incorporating several into a single artwork. Her bold, vibrant and colourful style reflects the inspiration she draws from her native Africa as does her fascination with flowers, trees and nature.

As a Visual Arts teacher, Rowena’s teaching philosophy is to instil within students a curiosity about life and creativity, fostering higher order thinking skills, self-expression and a deeper appreciation of art within a highly innovative environment.
